Used for Kenshin Himura cosplay
Short(er) cotton hakama handmade for my Rurouni Kenshin cosplay. Worn twice. Made for someone with the following measurements:
Waist: 34"
Hips: 44"
Height: 5'5"
Selling because it's about 4" too short for me and adding length would make it less authentic. Would be good for someone 5'-5'1". It measures 33" from the top of the front waistband to the hem.
Made using a historically-accurate pattern. The fabric? Not so much, but the pleats are sewn down both inside and outside so they hold. While you can fold it like an actual hakama, it's not required because of this design.
Back insert is interfacing and heavy vinyl.
There's a small brown spot on one of the himo (from a marker I assume is water based). I have not yet tried to get this out.
