At the beginning, the communication between us was smooth. However the parcel got stuck at Canadian customs. I actively asked the express company many times and gave the buyer the latest progress. My listing page uses three bold lines to emphasize that I am NOT responsible for customs fees and loss.
The buyer did not purchase additional insurance and the at last the express company told us the package may lost in transit. I told the buyer that in this case I could only refund the shipping fee and compensation covered by the basic insurance to them. But they still claim all the money through the PayPal dispute. Even though LM moderators warned them, they remained silent and gave no further response. The PayPal customer service told me that since the buyer and I could not reach an agreement, as the seller I could only wait for the beginning and end of the Dispute and be prepared to pay the dispute fee. After waiting for a long time, they opened the dispute, but several days later perhaps out of conscience, they cancelled the full refund but accepted the shipping fee and insurance payment from the original Courier company . The whole thing took a lot of effort and I had to pay for the dispute. In fact, my attention to the package is purely a kindness, which doesn't mean that I'm responsible for the package loss because I already stressed that in the page.
